Hello and welcome to my website. I am a first time published author. I’m so appreciative and delighted by the positive responses my work has received, and I want to foster that connection with a wider audience. I’m looking forward to sharing my future stories as they come to fruition, but in the meantime, check my featured publication and more personal blog posts below.
All stories have a beginning, a middle and an ending, and if they're any good, the ending is a beginning
I was born in the town of Kilmarnock in Ayrshire in 1959. I began my general nurse training in 1978 and my midwifery training in 1981. Marriage and work took me to many interesting places in Great Britain and in America.
My nursing career, which began with me primarily shopping in King Street in Kilmarnock, ended with me becoming an Outpatient manager in a prestigious world-class hospital in Chelsea where most of my shopping was done on the King's Road.
I returned to Ayrshire in 2017 with my wonderful husband Mike, and our two dogs, Oscar&Stella, where we enjoy all the amazing scenery, beaches and history Ayrshire has to offer.

The first draft is just you telling yourself the story
